What is going on? In the presidential election, why are so many people, Americans, expressing support (according to the polls) for a guy who has a history of exhibiting a propensity for an ideology which isn’t in concert with the classic fundamental precepts of America?
It’s easy to understand how so many people were duped in the last election. The masses were apparently intentionally deprived of a complete political, ideological and personal biography of the winning candidate. Yes, there were a few voices, very few, which attempted to fully vet him. But, for some not-so-arcane reason(s), those voices were drowned out by the forces which were promoting the false image of the candidate.
Well, we’ve had more than three and a half years to watch that successful candidate’s actions and non-actions as President of the United States. So………here’s the question……………………………………
Barack Obama | Mitt Romney |
---|---|
A man whose entire formative years were influenced mostly by characters and players, who openly and publicly espoused non-traditional American ideology and values. At least one being a well known card carrying Communist.
A man whose entire formative years were influenced by none but characters and players all steeped in traditional American ideology and values.
A man whose adult life has been spent espousing and promoting ideology and values which can only be characterized at least as pseudo-socialistic.
A man whose adult life has been spent actively espousing and promoting traditional American ideology and values.
A man who is claimed to be a Christian with the only manifestation being his attendance of a radical protestant church for nearly twenty years.
A man who is obviously a life long Christian with a spectacular life long history of unpublicized dedication to Christian principles and unequaled service to his fellow man.
A man whose only experience and success are political and that has been achieved only by manipulating government bureaucracies, elected politicians, political organizations and creating advantages for himself (and his wife) from positions he attained as a result of those manipulations.
A man whose business and political experience and success were achieved by prudent, respectable, accepted business and political practices.
A man whose every action, or non-action, leads to the conclusion that he is interested in taking America in a direction away from traditional American ideology and values. Some call it socialism.
A man whose every action leads to the resounding conclusion that he is interested in an America which seeks to honor and perpetuate the traditional American ideology and values. It could be called “Americanism”. It sure as hell ain’t socialism.
A man whose every achievement was by practices which usually cause and, or, arouse questions to be pondered about the means and methods invoked to achieve.
A man whose personal life, business life and political life are unbelievably squeaky clean.
There is so much more which could be explored, brought to the fore, which would cause any reasonable person to ask the question. Which do you prefer? But, if you are a reasonable, reasonably intelligent, person, you understand without any further comparisons.
