GUN CONTROL

GUN CONTROL. Citizens of the United States Of America. The Constitution of
The United States of America. The Constitution does, in fact, provide for
“gun control”. Here it is “………….,the right of the people to keep
and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”. There you have it. Gun Control. If
you take the Constitution at face value, no “interpretations”, any effort on
the part of any individual, any organization or any government agency or
body or any elected or appointed person, to restrict or control that
Constitutional Right is intentionally violating the Constitution and should
be subjected to criminal prosecution. Every act of Congress and, or, the
Supreme Court and every act of any state or municipality which has been
enacted or adopted to interfere with a citizen’s right “to keep and bear
arms” is simply a violation of the Constitution. It’s that simple.

But…….BUT…….without attempting to”interpret”, let’s inject some
common sense. First, let’s examine what “arms” meant and the purpose of that
explicit right. In 1791, “arms” had, by today’s standards, a very limited
definition. There were flint lock pistols, flint lock rifles, cannon (mostly
2, 3, 4, 6 pounders), mortars (“pudgy” cannons not anything like present day
mortars), swords, bayonets, knives……and that’s about it. That’s what
“arms” meant in 1791. The purpose? Very simple. To prevent the development,
installation, of some government other than what the Constitution provided.
There was nothing written relevant to the “right to keep and bear arms”
which referred to hunting or self protection. So, the purpose WAS NOT what
is being promoted today as the purpose. Yes, modern guns of various types
are used for hunting and self protection. But that IS NOT what the
Constitution says.

More common sense. If an atomic bomb is considered to be in the “arms”
category, then it’s common sense that a citizen, no citizen, should be
permitted to “keep and bear” one. Common sense ! How about an F-16 airplane?
Well, I submit that such an airplane without all it’s “guns” is not in the
“arms” category. So, an unarmed F-16 airplane ? Recreation, not war. I don’t
know. It just seems logical that tanks, planes, boats, ships and other such
machines are only “arms” when they have “guns”. So, common sense tells us
that “arms” are those things (guns, bombs, chemicals) which kill people.

The Constitution DOES NOT say that we have the “right to keep and bear arms”
until children are murdered in schools by people who illegally possessed
guns.

All you politicians who are screaming to further violate the Constitution
are proving that you are not qualified to be in any governing body. You are
a danger. You are assisting in the destruction of our
Constitution……hence our country.

I don’t know what the answer is. But I am certain that more control over law
abiding citizens is the certain path to the destruction of the United States
Of america.
