Of all the grandiose things President Obama said in his State-Of-The-Union speech, and it really wasn’t a state-of-the-union report, there was one thing that stood out. Glaringly. Aside from all the less than factual and all the self serving rhetoric, there was one thing he said that was earth shattering. Near the beginning of the speech, he was citing all the things that make America great and the envy of some of the world and at five minutes and fifty three seconds he cited …….direct quote……”commitment to the rule of law”. Commitment to the rule of law? Well, you and I and most Americans have a commitment to the rule of law. But how the hell can he stand there and talk about the rule of law when he has stood idle as city, county, state and federal agencies and individuals in government have scoffed at the law. Sanctuary cities. Pot. Fast and furious. driver licenses to illegal aliens. Murders and other crimes committed by illegal aliens. Abuse of government power and authority. And you, Mister President, have sought ways to violate the Constitution and avoid adhering to the rule of law. You stood in view of the world and swore to “PRESERVE, PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONTSTITUTION”. It seems that you abandoned your commitment to the rule of law……..if you ever had such a commitment. Commitment to the rule of law, Mister President, is the first commitment of any President. Including you.
