If you are objective about the recent Trump-Cruz-wives mess…….here are some simple conclusions.
Somebody used a photograph of Mrs. Trump all but nude in an anti-Trump TV ad. The photograph is not recent. it’s from years ago before Mrs. Trump was Mrs. Trump and when she was a professional model (world class). And it was published in a major magazine. In fact the photograph is very artful. But……the despicable characters who used it in the anti-Trump TV ad used it in a blatantly derogatory manner….even applying some inferential language. The people who did this TV ad are just plain “crap”. Now, if Mrs. Trump was out campaigning for The Donald…….making speeches……..promotional appearances for no reason other than campaigning…..then maybe….just maybe she would be fair game. But…..BUT….as far as I know…..Mrs. Trump has not….repeat….HAS NOT….been campaigning. Accompanying him on some, very few, of the trips. But mostly staying at home….taking care of her son and keeping a somewhat low profile. So that certifies her as “off limits”, “out of bounds”.
Yes, The Donald “flew off the handle (an old down home phrase)” when that derogatory ad was aired. He should have. He retaliated by making a comment about Mrs. Cruz. Maybe he shouldn’t have. But he did. The only thing that might make his commenting on Mrs. Cruz permissible is that Mrs. Cruz has been actively campaigning for Ted. Making speeches. Doing campaign appearances. Taking a leave-of-absence from her profession to “work” on Ted’s campaign. She has been known to make some very harsh statements about Trump. She has even called him a liar in speeches. So……if Mrs. Cruz is active…..campaigning….for Ted…..then that makes her a subject for recognition. She is no longer “off limits”, “out of bounds”.
And, by the way……Trump did not say anything derogatory or untrue about Mrs. Cruz. In fact, he didn’t say anything at all about her. Just a “threat” to “spill the beans”……whatever that means. But he didn’t spill any beans.
Once again….the lefties are forgetting to be honest about anything. Intentionally forgetting to be honest.
