Have you heard some of the crap, garbage, stupid stuff, that’s on what is called “public radio”? One of these totally unnecessary dumb-down “shows” is called….are you ready…..THE DINNER PARTY DOWNLOAD. There are dozens of meaningless “shows” that are aired, promoted, on the several “public radio” entities which have sprung up since the original NPR was launched. It seems that some enterprising individuals broke the code on how to start your own “public radio” entities. And that has given birth to so much empty air time being sold to some extremely small niche audiences. And the sad, disgusting, repulsive, part is………..it’s all….every single one of those empty minutes is funded (that means PAID FOR) by tax dollars. Either direct payments of tax dollars or tax “deductions” for “contributions”. Most of these stupid “shows” are nothing more than scams, cons, to better the individual(s) which “create” them. You can start your own “public radio” entity and get “public funding”……….regardless of the quality or need for the content of any “shows” you may want to air. If those “shows” had to depend on selling air time to legitimate advertisers to support the cost of the enterprise………they would not exist. Stop the tax supported crap.
