Let’s look back to last year.
The morning of September 30, 2019, Bill Hemmer on the Fox News show, America’s Newsroom, very welcoming and politely announced the return of Marie Harf. She had been on a “leave-of-absence”.
Her first re-appearance on the Fox channel….she immediately and vigorously displayed her extremely subjective left-wing-whacko interpretations of the then-current anti-Trump vitriol. You would think that she would devote her very first appearance on her return to Fox News to ingratiate herself to the viewers. But no….she immediately gave comments and opinions which make her look like an identifiable face of the deep state. If not an open speaker for the deep state, she is certainly easily identified as part of the swamp.
Oh, you ask where she was that she “returned” to Fox News? That’s simple. A few months ago she was enjoying her rising career as a Fox News “contributor” (that means very nice paychecks) and a partner in the radio show Benson and Harf. All that after she had been part of the swamp……..a spokesperson for the State Department and before that some position at the CIA. But, in May, 2019, she left those career and financially lucrative spots to join the staff of Massachusetts Congressman, Seth Moulton, who was trying to get the Democrat Party nomination for president.
How does such a far-left swamper/deep-stater get a cushy job at Fox News in the first place? Let alone hired back after her bad decision to work on an obviously losing political campaign?
That is a big mystery.
Could it be that the two apparently left-leaning Murdoch sons and their leftist wives, who are known progressives, were exerting influence on Fox News?
Anyway. She’s back. Every time she speaks, it sounds like she is trying to justify all the actions of left-wingers that are in stark contradiction to the Constitution and civilized society.
