Talking about the biggest lie ever about the United States of America, our country, on this, possibly the most important date in our history. THE FOURTH OF JULY. INDEPENDENCE DAY.
You ask ……”What is the biggest lie?”.
It’s PROJECT 1619. Some members of, and proponents of, this BIG LIE have been teaching its basic premise in some of our schools since 1994. PROJECT 1619, or the 1619 PROJECT, was “invented”, “created”, by Nikole Hannah-Jones, the New York Times, and the New York Times Magazine, and published in August 2019 to celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of a 1619 event, with the sole purpose of trying to rewrite the history of America. Trying to create the myth that America was formed for the purpose of sustaining and perpetuating slavery.
Yes, there is some basis to the assertion that slavery of black Africans started with between twenty and thirty, exact number unknown, black Africans being brought to what was in 1619 the Virginia Colony. A colony of Great Britain. Nikole Hannah-Jones wants you to believe that was the beginning of slavery in America.
That’s the big lie. Here are some pertinent facts that destroy the big lie that America was formed for slavery. First of all…..there was no America in 1619. Second of all…..slavery DID NOT begin in 1619. Third of all…….there were black African slaves brought into the British colonies as early as 1524. Fourth of all………there were slaves in the Columbus era in 1493 and 1494. Fifth of all…..and the most important thing……….America, the United States of America, was formed, created, purely and simply to be independent from Great Britain.
Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. LIAR. Yes, there were slaves on the North American Continent after America was “born”. But just look at the history. Clearly evolving away from slavery. Maybe not as fast as should have been. But nonetheless…..got rid of slavery. PERIOD !
So Nikole Hannah-Jones, you and all your “fellow travelers”…..YOU ARE A LIARS.
