I suppose almost everyone is by now familiar with “47 percent”. The part of a statement made by Mitt Romney which the Obama bunch has intentionally misquoted to “spin” or outright lie about it’s actual meaning.
The Obama bunch is trying to make everybody believe that Romney said “47 percent of the people (the population), et cetera”. When, in fact, he said “47 percent of the people who voted for Obama, et cetera”.
Repeat……”47 percent of the people who voted for Obama” ! Big…….BIG…..difference. Forty seven percent who voted for Obama. NOT forty seven percent of the population.
The “47 percent” may not be the exact number, percentage, but it’s close to what the actual number, percentage, is of the people who voted for Obama who do fit the profile.
Romney DID NOT mean the seniors, military or retirees who are not taxable. If you look carefully at the Obama “base”, you just might find the “47 percent” referred to are exactly what the profile says they are.
