Did you watch the “Presidential Debate”?
Or, it might be called a “slugfest”.
Both candidates didn’t shy away from interrupting. Not just once or twice. But, several, no, many, times.
Both candidates didn’t shy away from trying to talk over each other. Not just once or twice. But almost constantly.
Who “won” the debate?
Well, if you are a Biden supporter, you are eager to claim that the former Vice President won, hands down. And you are hearing the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, ABC and CBS tell how terrible President Trump’s performance was. While they are praising former Vice President Biden’s performance. Praising him even though he made several direct insults, such as, quote, “Everybody knows he’s a liar.”, “Shut up, Man.”
What should be said about Mister Biden’s performance is that he talked exactly like a politician. Saying “catchphrases” and clichés that only politicians use. “Political prostitute”. And what was his constantly looking down as if he was looking at notes he had on his lectern? Even while he was speaking, he would frequently look down. Did he have crib notes?
While Mister Biden didn’t show any breakdowns in his thoughts and speech like has been obvious in recent months, he did stumble several times. Not just simple stumbles, but small “replicas” of his recent major misfunctions.
No Mister Biden DID NOT “win” the debate. He participated.
If you are a President Trump fan…..well……you hear all of the talking heads on CNN, MSNBC, ABC and CBS talking about how bad President Trump performed. Every one of them trying to find something, anything, negative in everything he said. Those talking heads want you to conclude that he lost the debate.
But the level headed TV personalities of Fox News Channel were, for the most part, giving an honest analysis of the debate. They didn’t claim that President Trump won. They didn’t claim former Vice President lost. The Fox News Channel, Max news Channel and One America News Channel talking heads, all, every one of them, are seen and heard giving fair and balanced reviews of what was a very raucous confrontation.
Then there is the performance of the moderator. Failure. Chris Wallace seemed to be more cognizant of his image than that of being a moderator without bias or prejudice.
What should we have learned from this foray?
Simply. Number one: Former Vice President Biden is a politician with forty-seven years of being elected to Senator and Vice President (never had a real job) with not much positive to point to as having benefited America. The Policies he is promoting are only for political purposes and can only be detrimental to America. Number two: President Trump IS NOT a politician (a lifetime of business in the private sector). But he was elected President and has done more for America (and the world) in his first forty-four months of service (while fending off an attempted coup and constant attacks) than several immediately previous administrations combined. Every policy President Trump supports is for the good of America. Not a political ploy to achieve some political end.
America!………. Wake up!……Pay attention!……… President Trump seems to have only one goal!………..A traditional, classic, constitutional AMERICA!…..While former Vice President Biden seems to have only one goal!………Be a politician trying to get elected (again).
