That’s one of the headlines on the Februsry 26, 2013 Huffington Post. It
refers to the State (Commonwealth) of Virginia which has a massive military
presence. Ben Hallman and Catherine New appear to be the authors of this
completely false, as in a “real lie”, article. They clearly did not attempt
to get the facts of the situation. If they had done even the minimum
research, they would have found that there are no cuts. None. Nada. Zip.
Zero. NO CUTS. These two idiots and the President are doing what amounts to
yelling “fire” in a crowded theater when there is no fire. They are doing,
committing, what in some instances, would be criminal acts. They, and all
the others who are yelling “cuts” where there are no cuts, are doing what
should be criminal acts. But not one person in the country who’s job,
responsibility, it is to file and prosecute criminal charges….has done
what their job requires them to do.
Why doesn’t somebody, anybody, even just one person in the Congress, tell
the truth? The ONLY cuts are a reduction in the rate of growth. There is a
“built in” annual increase in federal spending. That is three to six percent
per year. Every year. Needed or not. The “sequester” is nothing more than a
reduction in that percentage of increase. In fact, the “cuts” aren’t even
half of that mandated increase in federal spending.
The real question is…….how the hell do we get rid of all these elected
and, or, appointed people who are causing the problems. The ones who are
increasing the spending and as well as the ones who are telling the lies
that the cuts are going to destroy the country. Please don’t tell me we can
do it at the ballot box. That hasn’t worked.
As long as there are entities like The Huffington Post and people like Ben
Hallman and Catherine New who are willing to conspire with a President to
promote lies…….the problems will continue until there is no more
America.
How about one of the Congress people take proper action to stop the lies?
