Did Mara Liasson, the darling of NPR, just commit PLAGIARISM? At 6:52 PM EDT (this date), on the Fox News show SPECIAL REPORT with Bret Baier, Mara Liasson, referring to the Ted Cruz speech last night said, quote, “…..the longest suicide letter in history”. The problem with that is……it is a ver batim verbal repeating of a statement Charles Krauthammer made immediately following the Cruz speech last night. And…..Charles was sitting with Mara when she used his “line”. She didn’t even attempt attribution. She just acted as if she was originating the “line”. But…..BUT…..Mister Krauthammer didn’t start screaming “plagiarism”. Even thought it was clearly an extremely distinctive “line” originating from the fertile brain of Mister Krauthammer. Further…….an attempt to find the “line” anywhere else other than Charles, produced nothing. So…..if you use the same rule-of-thumb used by those idiots who screamed plagiarist when Melania Trump used two commonly used phrases to express philosophies she learned from her parents….then Mara Liasson is a plagiarist. Now….here’s a little lesson for all you, pardon the expression, “journalists”. Those of you who actually studied journalism……where were you when the subject and definition of plagiarism was taught? Evidently, you were absent. Those of you who didn’t study journalism, you are obligated to know the definition of words before you start throwing them around. You, too, were absent. It’s clear that none of you who pretend to be journalists even know what the word means. By the way……simple research for the phrases Mrs. Trump (and Mrs. Obama) used resulted in several thousand almost identical wordings. So…….what biased, disgusting idiots you are if you used the “P” word to attack Mrs. Trump. Oh…….Mrs. Trump is apparently fluent in five languages…….and you can’t even get it right in one.
