First questions are these. (1) What is the “plan, program” under which all these refugees without any credentials are being lured into the United States? (2) Where did it come from (what “government agency(ies”)? (3) What are the names of the elected and, or, appointed individuals (and employees) in the government who actually “designed” the plans, programs under which all the refugees without credentials are being lured into the United States? (4) Who….YUP…WHO….. decided that the United states has to live up to its “values” and DIRECTED/ORDERED those unknown bureaucrats to create such a monster? WHO?
Okay, so maybe…..MAYBE…..not for certain…..the United States has a responsibility to “live up to its values”. Why not do it the simple, most effective, least costly, less dangerous (almost no danger to the United States or “we the people”) way with the greatest results. The results being providing a “safe haven” for people in trouble in their home countries. It is so damned simple. But, of course simple, logical, efficient, lest costly solutions to problems is exactly what “the government” does not do. This crap about the federals making contracts with the states and all the peripheral crap that goes with it……..like “the resettlement agencies” (yes, there are government “resettlement agencies”….plural). More government agencies to hire more people…expand the government. Back to the point. These refugees are not supposed to be RESETTLED ! The refugees…..by definition of the label…….are not supposed to be resettled….but rather provided a safe haven….TEMPORARY. MISTER PRESIDENT…….yes, you, Barack Obama……..all you have to do is, as you threatened if you didn’t get your way…..USE YOUR PEN AND YOUR PHONE…….EXECUTIVE ORDER. You can almost totally eliminate the fear of terrorist infiltration of the refugee group(s). The United States can accept the minimum vetting….like what is your name what city and country are you from…and not challenge the claim. SO SIMPLE. All you have to do, Mister President, is order all the refugees to be sheltered, fed, clothed, cared for in FEDERAL GOVERNMENT “detention” facilities…camps….closed military bases. They are CONFINED to these controlled secure places because they are being given a safe haven on a….ready for this….TEMPORARY basis. There is nothing wrong with the United States taking such actions to provide safety for refugees. What the hell….FDR “protected” America from citizens of Japanese ancestry by literally herding them into concentration camps.
Of course the most efficient and best for America would be to create protected (yes protected by American military) safe zones in the countries of origin. Don’t say it can’t be done. It would be the easiest way to do the most for all those refugees.
Remember. These are refugees. REFUGEES. They are not supposed to be integrated or assimilate into American society, culture. They are to ONLY receive a confined safe haven for a short period of time. And then……go back to their country of Origin.
