Election Stuff – Some Good, Some Bad

Some more reporting on some of the good stuff from the Republicans and some of the bad stuff coming from the Democrats in the wake of the November 3, 2020 election.

It seems like the Republicans offer reports and statements of fact-based, common sense, information, evidence, in a calm, civilized expression, regarding the election. While it seems like the Democrats offer nothing more than uncorroborated denials of any election fraud. Illustrating a lack of common sense.

Usually not calm or civilized in the delivery of their outrageous denials of the facts and evidence confronting them. Here’s proof positive…..of both….the good and the bad.

Senator Ron Johnson, Republican from Wisconsin, Chairman of the United States DHS Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee Conducted what can be described as a “good” hearing, live, on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. One of the highlights of the hearing was when the Ranking Member, Senator Gary Peters, Democrat from Michigan, attempted to have some of his verbal atrocities become part of the official record. Senator Johnson was gonna have none of it. In very explicit language, Senator Johnson informed Senator Peters he was not gonna be allowed to repeat the lies that he has been throwing around recently.

The exchange did get a little “testy”. But Senator Peters didn’t win. Another highlight of the hearing was witness Chris Krebs. Mister Krebs had been the Director for two years of the two years old DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency until he was dismissed in November. Why was he dismissed? He got the spotlight when he made a number of radio, TV and print media interviews glowingly and eagerly professing that the November 3, 2020 election was the most secure election in the history of the United States.

Apparently an intended direct contradiction of what President Trump and many others with clear evidence the election were reporting it was not the most secure in the history of the country. In observing Mister Krebs’ appearance as a witness before the committee, he did display a high level of knowledge about the subject.

But……he also demonstrated being quite impressed with himself, an abundance of arrogance and condescension. The “most secure election” statement by Mister Krebs can be defended this way. His mission, the purpose, the function, of the DHS CSIS Agency is confined to CYBERSECURITY ONLY. Got it….CYBERSECURITY ONLY! Mister Krebs and his agency didn’t have a damned thing to do with protecting election(s) from “local” frauds. Do you understand that?  It appears that, in the realm of cyber security, the 2020 election was secure. But……..the election was not…..repeat, WAS NOT…free of, free from, clear and obvious frauds.

There is overwhelming evidence of many incidents of fraudulent acts in one form or another which render this election one of the worst in United States history. Back to the hearing. Other witnesses offered, provided, clear information and evidence of many frauds. Involving hundreds and hundreds of thousands of ballots, votes. Perhaps even millions and millions when all the smoke has cleared.

But, without a doubt, sufficient numbers to change the outcome being allowed to continue. The Republican members of the committee, every one of them, asked pertinent, reasonable, useful questions. No pontificating. No monologues.

But the Democrats on the committee? That’s a different story. Every one of them showed a disdain for the facts presented. Very few Questions. And those few questions didn’t add to the quality of the hearing. Most of the Democrats were more interested in grandstanding with monologues. Conclusion? Senator Johnson’s committee hearing was good. The Republicans’ participation was good. The Democrats’ participation was bad.

So you get SOME GOOD, SOME BAD.
