What is “the swamp”?
Well, it’s a commonly used label, or title, for some appointed and hired employees who make up the city, county, state, and federal governments. Let’s call them “Swampers.
And there are approximately twenty-two million government employees. Yup! Approximately twenty-two million. Nobody…..NOBODY…..knows how many are “Swampers”. Are you shocked? And this does not, repeat, DOES NOT include all the elected offices.
The truth …….the undeniable truth…..is the terminology, “the swamp”, easily fits, labels, every city, county, and state government as well as federal government bodies. Here’s why, how. From the very beginning, even before there was a United States of America, there has always been an evolution of the “character” of every governmental body. Resulting in what is seen today. The “personality” or “character” of everything government has become “the establishment”. Most of the more than twenty-two million individuals who now make up the establishment, quietly, or inactively, or actively participate in the perpetuation of the establishment, the swamp.
Even though there isn’t a written “qualification”, most of the “new” people entering someplace in the government are selected because they have the potential of “fitting in”. This is not to say that any hiring for a government job or position is based upon swamp compatibility. But, for example, if there are two applicants for a job, position, and they both qualify for that job, position, it is most likely the person accepted for the job, position, is more compatible to the swamp personality, character. Thus perpetuating the “status quo”.
Slowly but steadily increasing the numbers of the employees, bureaucrats, who actually control every city, county, state government, and the federal government. The “swamp” isn’t a specific political party, but more of a “government party”. It does seem though, that over the past few decades there has been an increase in Democrat Party influence in almost every corner of the “swamp”. And then, most disturbing, is that a few who have found a place in the swamp have become, for whatever reason(s), part of what is called “the deep state”.
And that’s a discussion for another time.
But for the swamp……it’s real……. It does exist. Even in the offices of the White House. In the offices of Senators and Representatives. Even in the offices of every Cabinet Member. If you don’t believe it…….as an example, just ask Bill Barr, the Attorney General.
There are actually “career” employees in the Department Of Justice who deem it compatible with the swamp mentality to exert pressures, drag actions, slow walk, to interfere with whatever they might not agree with.
That goes for the FBI, which, as you know, is part of the DOJ. It looks like the FBI has been “infected” for years with Swampers. The Department Of State has the same problem. Too many career Swampers. The sad thing is…..a few of these Swampers have actually committed crimes……..but have been allowed to “skate”. Which means the Swampers have a lot of power.
AMERICA NEEDS THE SWAMP DRAINED. If the traditional, the Constitutional, America is to survive.
